Part of the activity of Learning Together Cheshire and Warrington relates to the delivery of contracts that benefit the Third Sector in the sub-region. These take the form of time limited projects. This also provides a significant amount of funding which can be matched and enables us to provide high quality core services to support the membership.
Further details of the various projects that we have delivered over the years can be found from the various links below

| Building Our Sector's Skills (BOSS) Project |
The overall aim of the project was to tackle inequalities in Skills for Life provision by putting the learner at the heart of the learning provision. The project built on established client relationships by consulting with learners, enabling them to overcome barriers to learning and training, responding directly to their needs to equip them with skills for employability. The project aimed to raise the aspirations of learners, considering their needs to determine opportunities. Partners/members worked to turn negative attitudes towards learning into positive ones, encouraging clients to take part in ‘Lifelong Learning’. There was a lot of work around overcoming the issues, which prevent the disadvantaged groups accessing mainstream learning.
