You can find out about training opportunities either by going to the training available pages or by using the interactive calendar to the right of this page. By hovering over relevant dates you will see the titles of training available on that day. Click on the date to see full details of the training available on that day.
Not found the training you are looking for?
If you are looking for particular training you can use the search facility on the training available page to see if there is training relevant to the topic you are interested in - by altering the date parameters on the 'advanced search' option it is possible to see training delivered in the past, rather than just forthcoming training.
If you still haven't found the training you are looking for, please contact us so that we can work with you to identify possible training opportunities, perhaps by organising a particular training session and making it available to others. This can help to make the course viable, both in terms of numbers and cost.
Training Calendar available for download
Alternatively, you can download the training calendar which is compiled each month, listing brief details of training events featured on the website covering a three month period.
This Calendar is updated each month so that a rolling three month period is covered. Clicking on the titles of the training events listed in this document will take you to full event details. This document can be downloaded as a pdf file which can easily be sent to other people in your organisation or your contacts.
Free advertising
Member organisations can advertise any training they offer free of charge on our website and details will automatically be included within the training calendar which covers a two to three month period and is sent out each month with the LTCW newsletter. If you would like a training event included on our calendar please e-mail admin@learning-together.co.uk . To ensure inclusion in the next available Calendar digest which will be circulated to both LTCW members and partner organisations please send details of training events prior to the LAST THURSDAY of each month.
Other organisations can send us details of any training events that are relevant to the Third Sector locally, but we reserve the right to include it in our listings. Contact admin@learning-together.co.uk with details of any events you would like us to consider.
Other local websites highlighting training opportunities
Whilst we list all training that we find out about (or are notified of), there are other places you can look for training opportunites which may include events that have escaped us.

Community and Voluntary Services Cheshire East include training events on their website.
Chester Voluntary Action arranges regular traiing events which you can find out about from their website
Ellesemere Port and Neston Association of Voluntary and Community Organisations (EPNAVCO) arranges regular training events which you can find out about from their website
LTCW courses
From time to time Learning Together Cheshire and Warrington organises training courses for its membership and other voluntary orgnaisations in the area.
These courses are always at a very reasonable cost and sometimes free and members have preferential access and lowest rates.

LTCW Conferences
LTCW organises a conference each year on a topical theme and two places are available free of charge to each of our member organisations. Other organisations are encouraged to attend, including Colleges, Universities, Local Authority representatives and other public sector organisations such as Job Centre Plus, Connexions, Skills Funding Agency, Young People's Learning Agency etc.
As a result the events are very popular and well attended and are great opportunites to network with a wide range of other organisations relevant to the learning agenda. Full details of any events are on our conference pages and where details of previous conferences can be accessed.
