Work Force Hub Logo

Workforce Hub
The workforce hub works to ensure that third sector organisations have staff, volunteers and trustees with the skills they need. The work of the hub  falls into four main areas: learning and skills, human resources and employment practice, leadership and working and volunteering in the third sector.

It works with partners across the sector so that

  • more people come to work in the sector;
  • people who already work in the sector, as paid staff or volunteers, can continuously develop their skills;
  • people can develop their management and leadership skills
  • organisations find it easy to be good employers and manage all their human resources to the best effect.

Governance
The Governance Hub brings together people, information and ideas about governance in the voluntary and community sector.

By governance we mean ‘the systems and processes concerned with ensuring the overall direction, effectiveness, supervision and accountability of an organisation’.

Whether you are a trustee, management committee member, chair, adviser, funder, CEO - or just want to know more - this is the place to come.

2) information dissemination, good practice and management development;
3) modernising infrastructure.
